Other Opportunities to Practice
Creative Connections with Nature
Sunday, September 20th, 2 to 4 PM
Weaverville Community Center Multipurpose Room & Veranda
Creative Connections With Nature, is a thoughtful exploration of our connection to nature as we prepare to enter the Autumn Equinox.
We will create nature inspired artwork to take home, explore the beautiful grounds of Lake Louise with a walking silent meditation practice, and enjoy a tea party on the veranda with homemade treats and herbal teas. Dress comfortably for walking around the lake, bring a journal and pen, and your fabulous imagination!

Navigating Grief Through the Holidays
Sunday, October 4th, 2 to 4 PM
Weaverville Community Center, Albert Weaver Room
The holiday season can be challenging for many of us. Loss of loved ones, a change in job, relationship, or move can bring a sense of grief even after many years when holiday reminders come up. Wendy has facilitated this workshop for many years. She offers useful tools to bring joy and connection during this tender time.
*Note: There is no requirement to share your personal story during this workshop. We will create a safe and healing container for self expression through painting, movement, and journaling. This is not a yoga class.
Please contact Wendy with any questions and to pre-register as space is limited. bloomingself@gmail.com
"Wendy's classes are awesome! No matter the students age, yoga experience or anyone needing modifications to participate in one of her classes. Her classes offer something for everyone. Let me also add that everyone should experience the warm welcome she extends to all who attend."

"Practicing yoga with Wendy feels like coming home. Her voice is soothing and her presence is full of acceptance, non-judgement and comfort. Her humor brings a smile to your face in some of the more challenging postures, and her light shines throughout the entire class. She brings such joy and authenticity to the room. You can't help but feel safe and comfortable." Brannan Arnett, yoga instructor, preschool teacher, web designer
